One of my favorite Morrison quotes and one I try to abide. It’s a great time of day full of possibilities and to me feels wrong not to be exploring them. Thursday morning was cold, -18f (two degrees from record) wind chill in the minus 20s. However it held the promise of a glorious sunrise after days of grey, blowing snow, scooping, and recovering from scooping. I had to check it out and my sun chair in the loft wasn’t going to do it. I wanted to be on top of the hill for a sunrise picture. Returning cold dogs to the warmth of the fire slowed progress. I started on the path for a warm up then turned up.
Made it to the top and found a comfortable spot to enjoy the view.
